Important message regarding the spread of COVID-19 in Bulgaria

We all at Marathon Plovdiv are constantly monitoring the situation in Bulgaria and supporting the efforts of the Bulgarian authorities to restrain the spread of the contagion. The health of our participants, their families and loved ones is of prime importance to us, as well as the timely delivering of information on decisions that will affect their preparation, participation and travel to Plovdiv.

Currently, there is a national prohibition on indoor cultural events, restrictions on outdoor sports events, including special requirements for participants from abroad. We expect that this prohibition, at a later stage, will affect major sporting events, including Marathon Plovdiv & Half-Marathon.

With all our responsibility as organizers and athletes, we would like to inform you that within a week, we will publish new information about the Marathon Plovdiv organization.
